Lisa van Hemert began her career in the Canadian energy sector, joining Connacher Oil & Gas as Manager, Marketing and rising to Midstream Director. Those years inside an operating producer shaped her commercial instincts — an understanding of how value is actually created and captured in oil & gas.

From Connacher she moved to Global Partners as Vice President of Canadian Operations, taking on national-scale accountability for commercial performance, business development, and operational execution across the Canadian portfolio.

In parallel, Lisa founded The van Hemert Group Ltd, a Calgary-based consultancy that has spent more than twenty years advising energy and oil & gas clients on commercial strategy, marketing, and growth. The firm exists to help energy businesses align commercial execution with their long-term goals.

Today Lisa serves as Chief Commercial Officer of Lux Modus, leading commercial strategy and growth in 3D digital twin technology for industrial clients. She is actively pursuing US corporate board director appointments where her cross-sector commercial leadership can serve at the governance level.
